Hamilton Island ResortHamilton Island Resort is situated in the heart of the Whitsundays, the group of 74 tropical islands lying in the Coral Sea between the Queensland coast and the Great Barrier Reef.

Hamilton Island is the only island with a variety of hotels and apartments to suit all tastes and budgets as well as an endless array of activities. 

Surrounded by idyllic coral fringed beaches, Hamilton Island provides the perfect backdrop for the ultimate Great Barrier Reef holiday experience.

Hamilton Island Airport services around 43 flights each week including direct flights from Sydney Brisbane, Melbourne and Cairns.

With four hotels, Hamilton Island caters for everyone - romantic palm-fringed bungalows, self-contained apartments, an exclusive beach-front boutique resort and an hotel with panoramic Coral Sea views.

Activities on offer include Great Barrier Reef cruising, catamaran and yacht sailing, go-kart racing, fishing, snorkelling, waterskiing, windsurfing and diving, just to name a few.

The island features the only island marina in the Whitsundays, complete with its own yacht club where guests can enjoy a relaxed tavern ambience.

The Marina Village features fantastic shopping, from the resort general store to local art and fashion.

Kids stay, play and eat free

Families are especially welcome on Hamilton Island with children under 15 years staying, playing and eating for free. Free accommodation for children when sharing with parents in existing bedding, free 'Clown Fish Club' and free meals from kids menu when dining with parents in a number of our restaurants.
