Club Med is the world's favourite holiday and the 10th largest 'hotel chain'.
In 1950 a Belgian water polo champion named Gerard Blitz invited a few hundred of his friends to join him for a month of sun-drenched bliss in a Mediterranean paradise, at a very affordable price.
They called it 'Club Med' and from the start it was a huge success. To allow people the freedom of doing everything they'd always wanted to do on holiday, the radical new concept of an all-in-one price was introduced. Members were so enthusiastic they came back demanding more, holding parties in cafes and bars in Paris as they told and re-told of their exotic holiday adventures at the Club. Club Med grew, changing with the times.
But one thing will never change. From mountains to deserts, from islands to jungles, in cities or country estates, from straw thatched huts to the very comfortable stylish accommodation with ensuite facilities - the original vision remains true and the spirit and unbounded enthusiasm of Gerard Blitz lives on.
Family Clients?
Club Med invented the 'Kids Club' concept. Our purpose built children's clubs are open 12 hours a day and staffed by our trained child care G.O.s. Perfect for families, from single parents to extended groups; parents can relax knowing their children are safe and happy.
Petit Club (2-4 years). Walks, games, face painting, lunch (with or without
parents), clay modelling, afternoon naps, snacks, puppet shows, music and dance.
Mini Club (4-12 years). Numerous supervised sports and activities. Children 8-12 have an impressive range of activities and are free to come and go as they please. Breakfast with parents, lunch and dinner with Mini Club or parents.
Couples and Romance Clients?
Club Med is the perfect honeymoon solution. Our traditional wedding gift is a 25 percent reduction in the cost of the bride's stay, on a minimum 7-night stay, at all destinations except ski villages. Couples love the choice of romantic dining settings, with unlimited wines, beer and soft drinks at lunch and dinner, and sports and activities to suit both partners.
Single Clients?
There's no friendlier holiday on earth for singles wanting to meet other singles, with sports and entertainment activities geared up for fun. Club Med's
Solo Rendezvous' on Lindeman Island for 30+ singles has become legendary. Club Med offers single travellers the choice of a single room (with a supplement) or twin share accommodation (share with a stranger) without a surcharge.
Senior Clients?
Your senior clients will always find friendship with other like-minded senior travellers. Club Med offers complete security and the knowledge that everything has been taken care of in advance. The best value choices in excursions are on hand and the buffet dining suits all diets and appetites. Note: Club Med's famous 'Save on your Marriage' offer is perfect for senior couples. Discounts on the stay at a Club Med village equal the number of years married, to a maximum of 25 percent. During certain times of the year, this offer is available at Lindeman Island.
